I have worked with D and L over the past 7 months at my location. We just went through a rigorous Department of Health Survey with the Federal Goverment also conducting the audit and we did very well with the survey overall. Initially I was nervous not knowing the company well however I was feeling confident just before survey once I got to know Michael and his commitment to providing excellent service. Michael and his team are attentive to our needs 100% of the time. He is knowledgeable about his trade and he provides suggestions/recommendations to us as needed. I am in charge of Buildings and Grounds at Trinity Episcopal Church in Northport NY. We recently had an issue with our Garland oven. After speaking with Michael from D&L installations I knew we found the right person for the job. Michael arrived early and got started right away. He was able to resolve our issue without a problem. He also took the time to share his knowledge about our stove that will help us with any future issues. I have worked in the nursing home industry for a number of years now, and have used D&L for so many repairs I can't even begin to count. The technicians are extremely skilled in all aspects of repairs, on all or our commercial kitchen equipment. They do not gouge prices as did another so called repair company that improperly installed and purposely sabotaged working equipment so they could continue to make false, shady repairs and bilk the company out of thousands and thousands of dollars. Needless to say, D& L repair came in and repaired all of the sabotaged equipment, and brought it all back to working order , and educated us on what was broke, and how it needed to be repaired Not replaced!!! Been in the food industry for 18 years, as an operations manager and previous Director I have had other equipment repair companies repair my kitchens but D and L by far is one of the best. They're affordable, reliable, they use safe work practices while doing repairs, they give me their professional assessment of a repair and never lock me into 1 option usually they'll give me two or three if possible. They explain the issue in ways I can understand, and will give me the information I need to make my decision with certainty. If they say they will be there they are.
