They are friendly. Told them I had a storage of 10 x 25 packed from floor to ceiling to move from California to Missouri. Gave me a quote of 7500.00. Was in no hurry and it took a few months and they finally called and said they could do it. Then it started, they didn't plan well enough for the amount of stuff and needed another truck. The they were overloaded and had to transfer things again. When they finally arrived the bill was 15,013.00. While I can understand that to a point I have never had so many things broken by a moving company in my life. One particular piece was a one of a kind emblem for a dive shop I used to own and they said they could get it duplicated and sent to me. That was in 2022. Have not hear a thing from them since then. I want to start by saying that moving is stressful under the best of circumstances. Now imagine moving from Chicago to Minnesota in December—right after 13 inches of snow hit Chicago. Needless to say, my stress level was through the roof. A few weeks before the move, Dennis came by to take inventory of everything that needed to be transported. We have moved quite a few times in the passed. and I can honestly say DMD Movers was the BEST experience we have ever had. They were Awesome to work with, very professional, handled all are furniture as if it was there own. We moved half way across the the country and NOT one thing was chipped, scratched, or broke.
