Door County Carpet One

I called for new carpet in our home and Steve said “how else can I help?” Not only did he install carpet (which is lovely) but he and his team of craftsmen tiled the bathroom and kitchen floors and walls and managed the renovation of both rooms. His tile team is exceptional! He has a can-do attitude, communicates well, and asks instead of assuming on things. We are lucky to have discovered him and his team. Highly recommend!

Steve (owner), Dan, Jim and Alice were all awesome to work with. I don't live locally the entire year and they made the process of getting samples, estimates, and the install seamless. I called with a last minute carpet request for my entire upstairs and they were able to get to it in a very short period of time. Steve was good at communicating and finished the entire second floor in less than a day. Very good work! I highly recommend.

We bought a fixer-upper in Sturgeon Bay and needed flooring throughout the house, which was one of our larger expenses, so we wanted to get it right. We decided to get more than one quote for comparison, but we quickly learned that we were comparing more than just pricing. Quote #1 was handled in a way that just didn't work for us. But the folks at Carpet One were on track, provided a reasonable quote and more importantly did it with a forthright approach, as we did have a tricky situation with our slab and there would be a chance the pricing could alter once the old flooring was removed. Steve made us aware of this and made us feel comfortable in moving forward with Carpet One. (The other contractor was condescending and made us feel uneasy). Very pleased with these guys! We needed new stairway carpet for our vacation home in Door County. Steve and Dan were both responsive and helpful, and we did everything via email and phone. They installed the carpet within a few days. We weren't there the week they did the work, but when we drove up to our house a week later we were so pleased to see a perfect install, and they cleaned up every sign that they were even there! Extremely happy with the Door County Carpet One from start to finish. Steve was great to work with from estimation, scheduling, to completion. They made it easy to see some samples onsite or borrow some from the Jacksonport showroom. They performed a full flooring job in Gills for us entailing carpet removal, floor leveling, install LVP, and base/trim removal/reinstall. The product is high quality after having it for about 9 months now. I'd highly recommend.
