Double Queue Fine Furniture Restoration and Conservation

I reached out to DQ when water damage was done to a family heirloom, mahogany folding leaf table. I was absolutely horrified that I had ruined the table it would need to be fully stripped to restore it, but after speaking with Chris, I knew the table would be in skilled hands. He's an artist with a true passion for his craft. Within hours, the water stain was gone and table back to its glory. I fully recommend DQ for fine furniture restoration!

He has repaired century old furniture heirlooms for my clients, brought mid-century modern pieces back to life and repeatedly demonstrated his ability to both respect the piece while in extending its lifespan. His skill as a restorer is complemented by his impressive depth of knowledge about finishes and an uncanny eye for color; combined these allow him to both restore on site woodwork (like handrails and molding) while blending together original elements with new repairs or additions.

Christopher went truly above and beyond to make the (shattered) sentimental piece of furniture I brought in, structurally sound and useable again. He pays thoughtful attention to what you want. (He understands that the worth of a thing does not just lie in its resale value - though he can tell you plenty about that too, if you want). Christopher’s craftsmanship is self-evident. Gave my 70 year old Cushman table to Chris to bring back the table top's beauty and usability. I was so pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
