A couple of years ago we had Double R do a major repair on our stucco and repaint the entire house. It turned out perfect! So when I had a minor issue with my front door closing, I was a little sheepish to call since it was such a small thing. But Luis came right out, looked at the problem and fixed it perfectly in 15 minutes at "no charge". They had said they wanted to be our "contractor for life". I can't rave about Double R Construction enough! From Nelly to Luis to team lead, Roger all amazing, good, hard working & honest people--something that is hard to come by. We had a massive water leak in our airbnb and needed a full interior remodel. Luis worked with our insurance to put together an estimate, had his team on site as soon as possible and stayed late to finish the job. He was very responsive and kept me in the loop on all things happening at our condo. They kept our condo so clean and picked up everything--I was pleasantly surprised how they treated my home as if it were their own. Double R has become our go-to for anything we need around the house. They have done things as small as replacing a bathroom fan and as big as remediation and reconstruction when we had flood damage to two rooms. I will tell you, when they were done, you could NOT EVEN TELL that there had been drywall cut out, baseboards removed, a window replaced that required refinishing an outside wall all around it, etc. We have other projects pending that we will do over time, but we already know that we will hire Double R for them. In Spring of 2023 we hired Double R construction to do some remodeling work inside of our house, and we have been absolutely happy and satisfied with the process and result. We needed to have built-in hot tub removed, and a support platform built for a new “portable” hot tub. We started by contacting 3 contractors and asking for bids on the work. The first contractor looked over the job, left the house and never submitted a bid. The second contractor told us he wouldn’t bid on the job unless we got plans on how to do it from a structural engineering firm. This would have costed many thousands of dollars more and an untold amount of time to get a firm to do this. The third contractor was Double R. We had a complicated home-repair project involving water leakage, and Double R was the right choice to fix and remediate it. The job included finding the leak, then replacing a door and rebuilding a deck, with drywall, stucco, roofing, and interior & exterior painting along the way. Luis and his crew got the job done in good time and to a very high standard, taking care not to leave any mess behind. We'll definitely employ them again for our future projects!
