DoubleTree Public Parking

Safe place to park in Center City on broad street. Early bird special was very reasonable. Friendly attendant available to accept your credit card or cash payment. Elevator available to get you from ground to your parking level. Levels are clearly marked /Ben Franklin, William Penn. Liberty bell etc. Nice view of a mural also.

Bought ahead of time on spot hero and went to the academy directly across the street. PRO TIP you can turn left across the median directly across from the entrance to the parking garage so you don't have to go down to the light and make a u-turn

Nice hotel. Safe but not good location. Only free wifi in lobby. No water to drink. Great memories in swimming pool for me but it is tiny.

Check in was fast and maybe took 5 minutes. Which was good because I have a cold. Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. My room temp was at 80 degrees and the thermostat was broke, but they were able to send someone up to fix it with 20 minutes of me reporting it. My room was facing South Broad and it was extremely loud throughout the night (bring ear plugs). Some point throughout the night I started fo feel a little bit better and was able to breath. Unfortunately, this only allowed me to smell the marijuana smoke that was embedded into the sheets from I assume the previous guest. Nonetheless, it was 3am and I just wanted to get some, if any, sleep. At some point I started to fall asleep only to be awoken at 6am by the alarm within the hotel room that I did not set. This resulting

$38/24h. Hotel guest has in and out privilege. If you stay in suites at Doubletree, then level 6 has easy access. Parking is very tight fit. Big car might be hard to park in between others.
