This is a "HORRIBLE" company. There is a woman in the office that is the most disrespectful person I've ever encountered. They charge exorbitant rates for labor and fuel. They were at my house at least 8 times this year and could have got the job done in 1 visit and they will hit you hard in the wallet if you have to have a tech come out after business hours. One of the techs had a bad attitude and tried to make me look like an idiot which forced me to control myself and I did. I am looking for a new company. Learn from my misfortune and by all means do not use this company.

Do NOT use this company...a technician came out to start my furnace over the weekend and was at my house for no more than 10 minutes, I just got the bill and it was $140. Further, I just got a call from a representative from the company looking to collect their money and she was pushy and rude...trying to sell me on their "special rate" of $2.65/gallon for oil. I let her know that there was NO WAY I would be using them again and that I get my oil from Forbes Oil at their current rate of $2.35. Anyways told her to mail me the bill and I will pay it at which point she said "There's no way you could find a credit card to just pay this now??" . USE FORBES, poor experience with Dougherty.

Can I actually give them zero stars? This is our local home heating supplier. Our relationship started great, but went down precipitously from there. The front end service is brutal; Doreen or Doris or something may be the nastiest person I've ever encountered. The service techs fix mechanics only to have them break again in a short time period. Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.
