Doughty & Sons is a great company which does excellent work at a fair price. I have relied on them for years and now, more recently, for help doing a full gut kitchen renovation - they did a really amazing job and were super efficient. Highly recommend.

They came back for another task and asked if I wanted the outdoor spigot replaced. I said what’s the pricing and he said we don’t usually do quotes on small jobs but I insisted I needed one and the quote was $725 for one outdoor spigot , I thought that was outrageous. I actually had a had a new spigot itself in my basement. They took $140 off the price. The spigot had cost me $35. He said because there were two of them and it would take them time to go buy a spigot (which I had bought at Home Depot). Our family has been very pleased with the fine work of the Doughty brothers. They have installed two new gas fired boiler systems at our home and the home of our daughter here in Arlington. They are superior craftsmen.
