Doug's Year Round Lawn Care of Columbia

Absolutely the worst experience me and my partner had with this guy. Total liar, arrogant and extremely pompous! He’ll tell you he will do everything you have talked about and completely disappoint you. We ask Doug to clear our backyard of trees, vines/roots, and debris. He quoted us $4500.00 to do the full job. He told us that there will be phases to the job. We were prepared to see a blank yard with nothing but tilled dirt. As we review the yard we noticed there were so many items and debris still in the yard. On top of that there were roots sticking out of the grass and large objects still presents. Doug also broke our irrigation pump and damaged the cover he didn’t even replace the cover for it. Things Doug said to us that he would remove. This was all included in the original price. H

Doug was supposed to come to my strip mall every two weeks to maintain the property. That lasted about a month. He supposed to spray the parking lot that had weeds coming out of the pavement but they remained in the parking lot. He then just stopped showing up. I would not recommend Doug!!

I'll never hire this guy again, no matter how much I like to support small businesses. Not worth the money I spent. I pointed out that he killed my lavender and he took zero accountability - saying he mistook it for a weed - this would've made more sense if there weren't a bunch of weeds that he left untouched. When i asked him not to blow the leaves in my neighbors yard, I guess he decided not to blow them at all (?) Now i have to go out and rake. I don't think he takes much pride in the quality of his work of satisfaction of his customers. very disappointed

I am well pleased with this company's service. Mr. Doug comes every week during the summer to make my yard look like it comes from a magazine ad. I love coming home seeing the green lush carpeted looking grass. It feels amazing when you walk on it with your bare feet. During winter he comes to winterize. Last winter I was the only person with green grass during the winter. I recommend him to anyone.

Preparing to leave for deployment, I needed to find someone to take care of my lawn while I was gone. Taking pride in my lawn, Doug reassured me that he “had been doing this a long time” and “your yard is easy.” So we agreed that he would come out the beginning of the week to mow, edge, and weed out all of my flower beds. At the time I felt confident that my lawn would be taken care of like I left it and left that week for my deployment. I was wrong. Three days after he mowed, the individual that was watching my home told me about my lawn and sent the first pictures of what had been done. Half my lawn was brown up front, with multiple brown areas in the back, and you could see that it had been mowed down to the dirt.
