I had an excellent experience working with Yair and Dr Deck, who built a truly outstanding deck for my home. Yair (a.k.a. Dr. Deck) rebuilt my deck from the ground up and did a great job. Solid work, everything feels sturdy, and it looks fantastic. I have never been as impressed with a contractor as I am with Yair and his crew. As a former professional cabinetmaker myself I was seeking an extremely detail oriented contractor to take on my large Ipe deck project. I got bids from 4 high end companies and did site visits with each- not a single one came close in terms of quality. Was he the cheapest option? No. Was he the best option? Absolutely. And to be honest, the top companies were all in the same ballpark. The difference was that Yair had actually read the plans bid correctly. The only changes in price were my actual change orders- other companies overlooked crucial footings, miscalculated Sq. footage etc and ultimately would have likely cost more.
