Durham Service Company

Christopher was right on time if not a few minutes early. He called before coming which was appreciated. He was professional and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and then got work. He identified the problem as the fan motor and ha one ordered. He returned the next day with a new motor. His service was excellent. Regarding Durham Services, they were very responsive and I got same day service. My concern is that on the first visit I had to pay a $75 service fee visit fee and then a $100 fee for a15 minute diagnosis of the problem. I did get a 15% veterans discount which I appreciated. When Chris returned the next day I had to pay $35 return visit fee and the a labor charge. I knew there would be a labor charge but in my opinion a return visit fee should have been waived

Colton was great! He took his time and did a thorough inspection of our unit. He took the time to answer all of our questions and gave us honest feedback.

Keith was super helpful, knowledgeable, and informative. He installed my new WiFi thermostat in no time. He even helped a friend get my gas fireplace hooked up and started before he left. I later discovered that he and his team have installed new HVAC systems for several family members. Will definitely be using he and his team again. 🤩

Jonathan came into a tough situation and was able to explain the issues with our HVAC system. He went above and beyond, making phone calls that he didn’t have to make, about our warranty through Trane. Our neighbors told us to call Durham because they were trustworthy. I called Durham and asked for a seasonal maintenance on my hvac system. I explained we lived here 3 years and just wanted a general system cleaning and maintenance because we have not done that yet, during this call I was asked if I thought there was any concerns. I stated I think the outside unit is loud when it comes on, but I know that it's probably because our house and the system is very close to our neighbors. The tech came during appointment time scheduled, he turned cooling down, checked handler and gages and said everything is good. Guess what ... I could have told him that. Then he turned the heat on, and like I could have told him, that was good too. Maybe I asked the wrong thing when I called. But I paid almost $200 to be told what I already knew.
