Pools Plus

Pool Plus built my pool and has been maintaining it for a while. Always dependable and willing to go the extra mile whenever there's a need. It's an ingrown pool with several pumps. Their design has proven effective with no deficiencies. Thanks guys.

I went there to see about hiring them to move a hot tub and instead was lectured about how they can't loan equipment out before I had a chance to finish speaking. Very poor communication skills. Maybe let a potential customer finish speaking before you interrupt and cut them off, when they are trying to offer you a business opportunity that would help with your business. Best of luck, you will never hear from me again.

One star because I can't give zero. Hands down the worst customer service and quality of work in the area for pools. Gary came to look at my liner in fall 2017 and we agreed on a new liner in April 2018. April 2018 arrived and I called Gary to get the new liner installed. After at least half a dozen calls, called the main number again and asked the guy who answered the phone what was going on. They said I was on the liner list for 2017! That doesn't explain Gary not returning calls or texts. And how could we be on the liner list for the previous year!? Just an awful place to do business with. Also had a problem with a Polaris vacuum and called for service a week ago. No call back - NOTHING. Contacted a better company and they responded quickly. Worst customer service experience I have ever had! Purchased the pool and everything was going well until we refused to accept the wrong liner that they order. After that the started dragging their feet. I had to run the electrical conduit because they wouldn’t. Finally a guy showed up to run the electrical and did it wrong, failing the inspection and two weeks later still no fix. Took them three weeks to install the ladder. Still waiting on the yard to get fixed , huge mound of dirt and mud. Looks like a lot of wasted money seeing how I’m going to have to pay another contractor to come fix their disaster! Avoid this company at all cost. I will be reporting them to the BBB! 4 months on a basic install, nothing fancy.

Initial response by Pools Plus in March was positive. Called for Hayward pool heater service call. Pools Plus is the ONLY authorized repair dealer for Huntsville. First call went fine, but I was told we needed a new heat exchanger and it would have to be installed by an electrician. I contacted the recommended electrician and he said he would coordinate with Pools Plus. That was April 1. When I heard nothing from anyone, I began following up with Pools Plus again the week of April 19. I have called no less than 10 times and NEVER get a call back. NOT ONCE. Everyone says they need to check with John, but John never calls back. I got ahold of the electrician the week of May 10 and he said he spoke to John about it the week before and the part hadn't even been ordered. Stay as far away from
