Durkan Fencing Academy

This club proves that great leadership and team building pay off. My son started in January of his sophomore year after trying out various clubs. He went on to place third in a HS tournament for sophomores a mere three weeks later. Patrick creates a positive and engaged atmosphere for these kids to not only build their athleticism but also be good sports. The teammates encourage and support each other at tournaments. This is the real deal. Look no further for both elite training and all around good vibes.

The facilities, coaches, and attention to detail are second to none! Durkan's excellent staff got me to the point of competing on a Division 1 fencing team at the university of my dreams. 5 stars!

It is bad philosophy, bad theology, bad thinking, and bad advice. It manages to combine the maximum of ignorance with the maximum of arrogance. Other forms of this include: "There is no such thing as coincidence," and: "It's all part of the great plan." They are all the intellectual offspring of Leibniz's ludicrous claim that "this is the best of all possible worlds." Each form betrays the same enormous conceit and the same willful negligence. I, personally, simply cannot imagine how it might be a good thing to tell myself, if I were to indulge in wish-thinking, that everything happens for a reason. The only conclusion
