Eagle Lawn Care

Used Eagle service for about 20 years in our last home & used Eagle for 11 years in our current home. They have always done a great job. Three years ago Eagle lost a long term technician. Since then our lawn has steadily gone south. Now it looks worse then neighbors who have no service at all. Posted photo taken 1st week of Sept. 2024. Appears the next review posted on Eagle has same appearance as my lawn. Over use of chemicals in drought have killed whatever hope grass has had to survive. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

We used Eagle Lawn Care for 4 years and as time went on our grass got worse. We brought it to Calvin’s (the owner) attention a few times to come out and look at what was going on and it took him awhile to address it. During the dry spell last summer he came out for a regular treatment and shortly after that a huge part of our yard turned completely brown and died. After multiple calls to Calvin he finally came to look at the issue and he did admit the grass was dead and most likely from how dry it was and the treatment he did was why it died. I told him we were going to be putting our house on the market in the next few months and he said he would come back and reseed the dead area for $100 which should have been offered at no charge since it was his fault the grass died. They came out to inspect our yard and provided a recommendation for lawn care. Several years later, there has been a small improvement in our grass quality, but with all the shade from the forest, the grass still struggles to grow. Their method certainly helps take care of the weeds, especially the broad-leaf issues we were having. The price is very reasonable and their service is great.

I wanted to let everyone know what a great company Eagle Lawn Care is. My next door neighbor hired you and I was amazed at how thorough Calvin Lapp was on their lawn. I was mowing my lawn and got the zero turn mower stuck on a cement block. Calvin saw I was having difficulty and asked if I needed help. He moved that mower like it was a toy. For the first 3 years our lawn was beautiful. Since then it has steadily declined for the last 2years. Weeds, nutsedge and burnt out patches throughout my lawn. After the most recent visit by their representative that told me he doesn’t know why my lawn looks so bad, and that it wasn’t his fault and that I should pay them to have my lawn over seeded I terminated the service. Why should I pay even more to a company that had no idea what happened to my lawn to try to fix it. Along with the fact that he fertilized some areas of new sod that shouldn’t have been fertilized, he apologized and said “ that he hopes it doesn’t kill the sod”. After saying “ it’s not his fault”, he kindly suggested i look for another service. Very unprofessional and not offering to fix the problem they created. unrel
