East 76th Street Parking Garage

1st time driving in NYC and 1st time parking in an underground facility. Nothing to it. Do not pay attention to the 1 star reviews. This is a great place to park your vehicle. The attendant was very friendly and polite. Just to be clear, you the customer, do not park your vehicle, the attendant does. Make sure you have all your belongings together, PRIOR to entering the garage. Once you pull down the ramp, it’s a very quick process. Show him your reservation from SpotHero, he hands you a ticket stub, you give him your key and you’re done. To those that complained about the extra charge for being early, I changed my time on the app literally 3 minutes before I pulled in. NO extra charge!

Straight out of a Seinfeld episode. Paid for and RESERVED a spot three days prior to arrival only to pull into driveway tighter than a frogs bum to be told it was full… that is what a reservation is for. The real champion here was SpotHero, best customer service I’ve experienced in a while. Offered to rebook, credit back, and even credit me the difference for the alternative lot I paid for.

We came 15 min before the reservation and they were going to charge 25$ extra. We had to exit, drive around the block and come back. After leaving, we suddenly found our gas tank empty. Almost got stranded on the turnpike but luckily there was a rest stop within 5 miles

We had a prepaid online reservation to come at 6am for our son surgery at a nearby Presbytarian hospital. Though we were only a few minutes early, the attendant (who later said he was a manager as well) did not mention anything about "early bird special" being in effect only exactly as of 6am. When we came back at 12pm (and our reservation was till 3pm) the manager told us we had to pay extra THIRTY TWO DOLLARS, as our reservation was for 6am. This person could have told us to wait a few minutes in the morning but instead he chose to take advantage of us. Stay away from this business. We will be disputing the charges.
