East End Renovations handled the rebuild of my home after a major fire. There were definite positives. The first floor feels open and bright, the flooring is beautiful, and the dining area—with two new windows and a double door—adds light and flow. When flooding occurred twice early in construction—first from a poor egress installation and later from plumbing that hadn’t been drained before use—they followed through and corrected both issues. They often reminded me that my home had problems before and that everything is now “new.” It’s true: the rebuild brought new electrical, plumbing, walls, and siding, all covered through insurance after a large loss. We were recommended East and Construction. When we had a house fire… Just after the fire Covid hit so obviously nothing got done for a while. Then once the restrictions were lifted nothing still got done… We will drive past the house every day and there was no work being done… They tried to use the existing foundation of the house that was Over 120 years old. And because they didn’t budget for the foundation, I paid for it out of my pocket. Nothing got done to our satisfaction. They did not use foam insulation because it was too expensive. They changed the design of the house without consulting us. We went from a four bedroom house to a three Bedroom house… They didn’t put in the right egress window so we had to spend our money to replace them We had to move in the house without a CO unt

I did not use East End, but my daughter did. He ripped them off by $1000. Did not do repairs (fixing 2 screen doors that had come off frame) he said he would. Was unresponsive to requests to return. He left condition worse than it was before he started. He refused to refund money. As a result, even though I have used Home Advisor in the past, I will never use service again until this is remedied! I don't know how this company was recommended. My daughter not only lost a lot of money, but now has to hire someone else to fix what East End did and then to do the job correctly! AWFUL.
