Eastern Termite and Pest

Been a maintenance customer for a few years. Field techs have always been great. Office Manager (or whoever answers the phone), not so much. Asked for a tech to come out for a bat in my attic. They do not do service calls for winged pests. Understood. Asked if they have someone they recommend. They do not, to which I said I was surprised. She said "how would we know?". Terrible response (not the first time). Cancelled my maintenance contract with them. Called Cowley's, such a better overall experience. Highly recommend them. To the owner of Eastern, find someone else to answer your phones. It's not just me, read the rest of your Google reviews.

I presently live out of state in Arizona for the past 5 years. I’m also a Native New Yorker from birth. My mother in-law who called us from her home in Brooklyn at 2AM (our time) and was screaming and crying that she saw a mouse in her house and couldn’t go back to sleep. I reached out to a friend the following morning and he recommended Alternative Pest Control, DBA Eastern Termite & Pest. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the level of courtesy and professionalism that the entire staff and most notably, Ernie the owner/ extended to my mother in-law. He came out that day, immediately put her mind at ease and remedied the rodent problem one, two, actually all three of them that very same day! Simply put… Ernie & his staff is the Best! Don’t waste any of your time looking anywhere

I contracted Eastern for service inside and outside of my house. The first appointment they came on time and performed the services that we discussed. I loved the tech and the service. Every appointment afterwards, they sent an appointment card with a prescribed time but came hours earlier and only completed the service outside. I had to consistently call to schedule them to come back for the interior service. There is no consideration for your time with the appointments. I did not pay the last invoice because the interior service was not completed because once again, they did not come at the appointment time. I get a message from the office manager. Rather than saying, we owe you service inside your house, when can we come to provide it, she leaves a nasty message stating I have an out

Had home inspection done. Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. He noted carpenter bees, which the buyers wanted treated with one year warranty. I called to schedule and was quoted a price. I asked if that included a one year warranty and was told that it did. Lou the tech, who was very helpful and friendly came to do the the treatment. When it came time to pay I again asked if it was a one year warranty. Lou said it was only 30 days. I said I was quoted with a one year. He called his office and said the price was $150 more! Spoke to office manager, who said I could not have been quoted that price with a one year warranty, basically calling me a liar. Had I been quoted the higher price I would have shopped around. Techs are awesome, office manager and staff, not so much.

The service technician Lou is very polite and works quickly and efficiently. However, the office manager is completely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I will not be using this company or recommending them to any others. She has no customer service and is extremely unpleasant. I will be contacting another company to have the termite inspection and warranty covered through them. STAY AWAY! Life is too short to have to deal with miserable people.
