Eco-Chic Gardens

Eco-Chic was so wonderful to work with. I met with Amy, discussed what I wanted: plants that were native, pollinators, and water loving because the area we wanted to turn into a garden flooded when there was a heavy rain (first picture). In addition to getting everything I wanted, they also added a diverter to my rain barrel and cleared up my French drain. They also matched my existing garden so you can’t tell the old from the new. All this in half a day. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely be calling again for my next project!

EcoChic have been helping us to slowly restore the gardens at our historic home to some of their glory. From preparing the multi year master plan down to simple planter maintenance they have consistently exceeded our expectations. The gardens are starting to look beautiful, and we cannot wait for the next phases to begin.

A shout out to Amy Hutchinson from EcoChic for transforming my 800 square-foot backyard into a mini food forest. I had an excavator come in to remove the sod and grade prior. She worked with me in this unusual layout, with enough space for me to put some raised beds into. The meandering grass path adds interest and depth. The fruit yielding plants were mature enough to produce the first year! I will be continuing to add perennials and other edibles throughout the season. EcoChic really worked with what my needs were, and stayed within my budget. She was very knowledgeable of native plants as well. I love looking out into my little park. Note, the grass was being grown from seed and has not been cut yet. And that was a tasty peach.

Eco-Chic Gardens is great on so many levels. I use them for all my gardening including spring clean-up, spring and summer plants/ flowers, mulch, summer check-ins, fall clean-up and fall flowers. They have experts (Amy is mine) that provide advice and suggestions that end up becoming a beautiful property. I highly recommend using them. The investment is worth it and you will love what they do.
