Quoted ~$650 for a motor. Identical part number was ~$370 at a competitor a couple miles away. And ~$260 online with 2-day free delivery from another distributor.

To start this story, a local HVAC company has always done my home which has 4 units. This summer they wanted $1000 dollars to replace an indoor blower motor. (I have a masters in engineering and in the automation industrial field.) Before the HVAC tech arrived I trouble shot the system and found the motor got all required voltage but was not engaging. Quote to repair, $1000 I said never mind. I repaired it myself for $150 buying a reclaimed ECM. They also priced $280 to add 1LB of R410A to my mini-split. I has a slow leak and got 1lb last year. Called to see if they had ducting for my new dryer venting business and was told they didnt. I called there nashville branch and was told that the murfreesboro branch did in fact have the ducting. I then opened up an account with them and tried ordering, I was transferred to Tim. I explained to him that im a new business owner and this would be my first time ordering from them. By the second item Tim said "is each line gonna be like this because if so this its gonna take forever". Tim was rude! And im pretty sure he was the one to tell me that they didnt have ducting in the first call. Also it took multiple days of not getting a reply on my cash application for me to call them and be told that I needed to send it to nashville which nobody told me.
