Bought a house. Allegedly $1,200 worth of electrical work was done to make it safe before closing. Mostly regarding GfCI outlets that are supposed to be in every kitchen/bathroom/laundry/outdoor area. And grounding water pipe. We move in and the outlets in the kitchen are 20 years old. Sparking when i plug stuff in. Cutting off other appliances when they randomly cut off. Stuff that was explicitly listed in the home inspection report for the electricians to do. After a long headpounding talk with the owner who made excuse after excuse before even trying to find the answers to my questions. He tells me “we replaced 3 outlets (in other bathrooms), and grounded pipe”…… all the other problems u have and stuff that isnt up to code wasn’t in our job but ill be happy to come out and charge u more
