Absolute perfectionists! They did closet/ceiling demo, plaster repair, wallpaper stripping, removal of old paneling, skim coating to basically every wall in my apartment, drywall installation, and a ton of painting and wood stripping. All the work - but especially the wood stripping - exceeded my highest expectations. I didn't know my apartment could be this beautiful. My husband and I keep joking "rich people must live here." And they are so nice, too! Friendly and helpful guys. I don't think you could find a better company for this type of work.

I spoke to a few companies that mentioned hardwood floor repair and refinishing. EG sent his floor guy over, measured and gave me a fair price. Didn't try and upsell, didn't deviate from the estimate. 2 guys came and knocked out the job in a day. They carted the machines up 3 flights of stairs w/o an issue. What I sincerely appreciated was the constant contact and updating. It's a very well run business. The first photo is obviously the "before" pic. The floor makes the room look completely different.

I wanted to refinish my metal doors and frames. EG Painting quickly and thoroughly stripped 90 years worth of old paint. Then they cleaned the metal, painted, and clear-coated it. I think my doors look great now! They have insurance and lead-paint training so my co-op had no problem with them.

Gerson and Eli came to see my job very quickly, answered all of my questions, and did the work we agreed on exactly when they said they would. In less than a week, they stripped a lot of paint off a lot of woodwork. I recommend them and would hire them again any day!
