Our family has enjoyed shopping at El Mel for many years. They always have just what we need, reasonably priced, and always great hospitality. Love supporting this small local business.

I give them 100 out of five stars. Please go out of your way and support these kind people. Purchased a bag of fertilizer by the time I got outside it was already in the bed of my truck.

Didn't deal with the type of trimmer I have but he did unwind my string. Very nice people. Prices on goods are a little high.

They are not punctual/reliable/hold their word. I called El-Mel on Friday, they said if I brought my lawnmower blades in that day that they would have them sharpened by Wednesday the following week. My friend & I dropped them off & they said it would be finished by Thursday. Wednesday came, and they didn’t call and then Thursday came, and they didn’t call so my friend went to look up their number around 4 P.M. and it appears they closed at 3 P.M and are closed until Monday. Rude..

Sold me the wrong parts for my lawn mower in told me I was wrong n that my mower has something wrong with it cuz that’s what the computer says it that called farm in home parts people were way more helpful and were not confrontational got me the right part went right on the mower no issues in it was a completely different part number mower works great now also they wouldn’t return the part in the part was half price at farm n home so save yourself some time and agervation and money n just go to farm n home were staff is actually willing to help you and can do more then look at a computer screen was so frustrated by there unwillingness to help or even return the incorrect part I contacted the BBB so hopefully other people don’t get treated this way
