Elder's Ace Hardware - Cleveland

Just wanted to give some praise to the excellent info and customer service from the retired plumber older fellow from the Midwest who works the plumbing section at this store. He was an absolute walking encyclopedia of knowledge and awesome help and guidance to me today. Everything he said to do worked like a charm. If only every hardware store had people even half as competent as this guy in them in every department of the store it would be incredible but reality does not seem to match that level of excellence and expertise these days in most places anymore. Thank you Elders Ace Cleveland, you guys at the new location are an absolute first class operation. I will definitely be back and do more business with you in the future, a 10 out of 10!

Let's just start off by saying probably one of the best experiences I've ever had with retail so it's 5 I'm a logger old school we cut by hand and select cut. My stihl chainsaws ahow I make my living. A couple of weeks ago one of my bigger saws burn up on me one use everyday so I go in Ace looking for a saw and couldn't ask for any better help than I got. the guy sold me on a 500 I which is one of steel's first fuel injected saws. I was a bit nervous hince old-school. I went with the 500i he was a good salesman I guess. So 2 weeks into it the saw just dies and won't start back. I took it in explained my frustration and then couldn't say when I would get it back. I was upset I should have been there earlier. Great store with Eclectic selection of both home and garden goods. Knowledgeable staff , fair pricing. Don't forget to look in the home niche nook in the far corner it has beautiful wares.

Update: Given the thoughtful response from the business, I feel confident they will address this issue and would shop here again. We stopped in to buy a Christmas tree, first time in the store since we’re new in town. They had so many cute things we decided to look around. We were clearly being followed the entire time that it made us so uncomfortable. We bought our tree and left.

This store is amazing! I love everything about it! All the workers there are great especially Chase and Amanda, they helped me both when I came in and out of the store! I will definitely cone back to this awesome store!
