Elder's Ace Hardware-Murfreesboro

It's so much more than a hardware store. Up until now I always waited in the car for him but this time I decided to go in. Inside is a gem. A little local shop with fun wares like seasonal gifts, cookware and books from local vendors. Who knew? The bathroom admittedly was why I went in and it's the cleanest hardware bathroom I've ever visited. The only thing missing is curtain rods but they did carry our odd size Hvac filter which the staff was happy to get down from the top shelf for us. Overall quality experience and I won't wait in the car the next time.

First thing I noticed about Ace Hardware when I walked in was how clean and organized it was. I just went there to get a couple of keys made and a few other things they were very helpful they assisted me in every which way they could. Plus they had a gift shop too. The girl at the register was very pleasant plus no long Iines. I will definitely be back. In closing the nice thing about this store was I didn't have to go through a bunch of people like crowds at home depot or Lowe's it was more of a home feeling like you see on the Andy Griffith show🏡 which is very nice sometimes. Unless Run into Barney or Otis or Ernest T I hear he's a nut.lol🤣

Went there to trade in a couple old craftsman sockets I had that had busted and although they had the comparable sockets on the shelf said they could not swap them out because the product numbers were not the same........of course product numbers not gonna be the same on a 1/2 inch drive sockets from year 2000 when craftsman was made in USA and today's China made counterpart but a 1/2 inch drive 9/16 craftsman socket is a craftsman 1/2 inch drive 9/16 socket and has a lifetime warrenty which ACE does not honor, and from the moment we walked in they had someone following our every move asking if we need help with something......if we needed help we would ask , they act like we were trying to steal something to the point didn't even want to browse and shop deals......will not shop there aga

Bravo to Elders! Not a fan of the big box hardware/everything stores. Elders bring great selection and quality products represented by knowledgeable staff. We’ve got a great store now in Murfreesboro

One of only a couple true hardware stores still left in Murfreesboro. I really like this location. The staff is always so friendly and eager to help. They truly understand what customer service is and try to make your shopping experience excellent. Jam packed full of anything that you need and would come to expect from a hardware store. I hope they will be here for many years and I will continue to support and help them.
