Elegant Homes

I would avoid Elegant Homes, if possible. The house itself and finishes are okay but could be better. Upon inspection, it was noted that the smoke detector in the primary room was not in code due to its close proximity to the ceiling fan. It was agreed upon by the builder to add another detector that meets code in the room. Additionally, the warranty agreement we signed said to contact the builder AND realtor for any craftsmanship issues. Despite not even providing contact information, I managed to find the realtor’s info. I communicated my concerns to her and my own realtor (who has reached out to the builder numerous times). I closed on my house in mid-November. Today is April 6th, and I still have yet to hear from the builder. Before closing, I also expressed concerns with the missing

Home builder and contractors were inconsiderate taking up the entire road for 30 mins when they had a whole col da sack to park in. There workers also block in peoples driveways, and park in them. They destroyed my neighbors yard driving a 18-wheeler thru it. They leave fires burning after then quit during a dry spell. I hope you never have to have them build next to you.
