On August 7th 2023 a tornado caused a one hundred foot Oak tree to crush throug one third of our brick home. With the help of our tree Arborer, Elegant Restoration was contacted and Dave Chmura immediately arrived at the scene. The damage was broadcast on local and National news highlighting two elderly residents were rescued from the damage, which was extensive. Elegant sprung into action suggested a personal adjuster to assist with insurance assessment and coordinated removal of debris, damaged furniture and other salvageable keepsakes. We enlisted the services of Elegant Restoration after a fire broke out at our neighbors home and spread to our house (townhomes). The damage to our home was mostly water damage, with the exception of the roof. I contacted Elegant about doing the work to rebuild our house. Dave, the owner, met me at our home and we walked through the house to assess the damage while waiting for our insurance company to put an estimate together. Dave was honest and upfront about the timeline of when they could start and how long the project would take. When the estimate was received we met with Dave and Rebecca at the house and did another walk through of the house going over what would be done. I can’t say enough good things about this company! My house had a flood cause by a burst pipe under the kitchen sink while my daughter was home alone. By the time I got home at 6pm, water was throughout the upstairs and all in the basement. My plumber recommended Elegant Restoration. They arrived within an hour and a half to assess and begin work. The owner, Dave Chmura, sat with me and went over the process and checked my insurance for coverage. The team extracted the water that night and began the long 6mo restoration process. We recently had water damage due to an overflow of our sump pump in the basement. Elegant came in basically the next day and got started on the mitigation work. Gary, Jaime and the entire team did a fantastic job and were incredibly knowledgeable answering any questions and concerns throughout the job. They also showed a great deal of compassion and empathy for the stress we were going through and made the whole process easier and more comfortable overall. We had a major wall restoration project here at Music Land and I can't say enough good things about Elegant Restoration - professional, thorough, respectful of our property and business.... great communication. A great company to work with... and one I know give a LOT back to the community!!!
