During the recent snowstorm, our heat pump wasn’t keeping up and the system was calling for emergency heat, but the air was blowing cold. I explained to Elite Mechanical the troubleshooting I had already done and specifically asked that the heat strips and high-limit switches be checked. They scheduled a technician for the next day. By the time he arrived, outdoor temperatures had risen and the heat pump alone was keeping up. The technician appeared unprepared and arrived with only a drill. He briefly looked at the outdoor unit, confirmed the fan was spinning, and stated the unit was “fine.” No refrigerant levels were checked, and no meaningful diagnostics were performed on the compressor or system operation beyond confirming it powered on. The best HVAC company around. Have always contacted Elite Mechanical for our problems and have been resolved each time. Had situation during a blazing summer day, our AC gave out and was not working, contacted Elite they had Javier come out and within the hour he had our system fixed and running. Very happy with the services. Javier did a fantastic job. I have been having problems with my AC since I moved into a brand new town house. I had different individuals and techs tried to figure out the problem with no luck. Javier was spot on. Knew the problem. Took care of it. He was empathetic and sincere in his work.
