We had Elkhorn Glass install 10 windows. Over half the windows came chipped to some degree in the wood. Rick told us to not worry about the chips, he would call the Marvin rep to take care of it because "they are really good with fixes". Time went by and we still hadn't been in contact with Marvin, Rick doesn't return phone calls. I asked Deb at the office for the Marvin rep contact information that Rick was referring to and it's Omaha Window and Door store. Rick sold us on Marvin windows because they were the best window, had I done more research about Marvin I would have just gone through Omaha Window and Door. I hired Elkhorn Glass to replace five windows in my 100-year-old home. Before you hire this company, read this review. The owner, Rick, told me during two separate estimates that he would be replacing rotten wood on the trim outside the window. He did not. I also was given the impression that aluminum coil was included with the window replacement (or at least that the old one was going to be left in tact and extended somehow). Rick knew this was my first home and first time buying windows and failed to tell me that wood would be exposed if window was not wrapped. He never told me that Elkhorn Glass does NOT wrap the window on the outside when installing pocket windows. We called for a window sealing over a month ago. We were told it would be two weeks and needed a deposit to order the window. I am good with all that but it took 4 weeks to fix the window without any kind of follow up and then the window guy came out an hour earlier on the installation date. A heads up phone call would have been nice. We do not move as fast as we used to. Also, use shoe coverings instead of tracking dirt through someone's house.

My windshield took a golf ball sized rock on the highway yesterday. It was pretty well cracked, even throwing shards into the cab. I searched for a glass shop close to home and found Elkhorn glass. I’m glad I did! The very next day I’m driving behind a brand new windshield. The price was really good. The people in the shop were all very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend them!
