I was tired of trying to figure out my pool issues on my own, so I decided to call a professional—big mistake. I spoke with Emerald Pool Service the night before, and we agreed on a $100 fee for a diagnosis. I expected at least some effort, but what I got was a complete waste of time and money. The guy showed up barely speaking English, carrying a few ancient tools that he never even used. Instead of diagnosing anything, he just stood there while I explained everything I had already tried. Then, when I went to show him something with the filter, he literally backed away and said he couldn’t touch fiberglass because it would make him itchy! Seriously? Best pool man I ever had. I currently have him to take care of my pool for more than 8 years and never had serious problem. Great experienced pool man.
