Due to the amount of space that Google gives you for a review, this will be a much shorter review about a long and frustrating installation and follow up with Empire. August 2025 we chose an engineered hardwood floor to be installed throughout our downstairs. This installation replaced current hardwood as well as 2 rooms that had carpet. Initially we were told 2 days by the salesperson, but the installers told us on their arrival it would take 3. Day 1 the installers realized the rooms which had originally had carpet would not be at the same height as the hardwood of the adjoining hallway. They needed to bring in extra underlayment to bring all floors up to the same height. This was not picked up at the time of sales and so we had to pay an extra $1500 before the project could continu

Apparently this company has a way of hiding the awful reviews they get on a daily basis. A tip. If a company has to advertise that they will match any price or buy this amount get the rest for free! This just means that they are really hurting for new business because they pissed off a lot of people. Like me! This is the floor that was sold to my uncle who is in a power wheelchair 🤯😳 He spent well over $10,000 for his floors which took him along time to save for. After empire came out to look after complaining. He was told that nothing can be done due to him being in a power wheelchair!! I just can’t figure out why a floor was sold to him that they knew would get destroyed! So I guess it’s like most big companies whose motto is.. who gives a shit and on to the next sucker! John Tandy was great. He came out several times at our request and provided excellent customer service and knowledge of Empire products and offers. Thanks John! Our installation crew, Ciprian, Robert and Raul did an excellent job. The new floor looks perfect without any issues or problems at all. They moved and put everything back in its place and cleaned up. We are very happy.

My wife and I needed to replace the carpet in 3 bedrooms and the closets in each. They had a great sales going on so we setup an in-home consultation. Christina Gibson came as scheduled and we went over carpet types, pros and cons, and budget. Using the samples we selected a brand and color that was well within our budget and we really liked the color and feel. We scheduled the install for the 20th of December, which gave us adequate time to prep (especially the closets ….. mercy!). The day before the install, Christian was informed that they ran out of the brand we wanted. She ran over to our house with samples for us to switch to. Mind you, we were not really happy. The floor looks great but it was the installers that made it great. Those 2 young men were very hardworking and skilled in all they did. Thank you
