Yisrael and Hadassah very courteous, did a great job with placement of attic insulation, and cleaned up afterwards so well that you couldn’t tell they had been there. Mike supervised and was very pleasant and listened well to what I wanted done.

Request quote for insulation install and was ready to move forward, but never heard back from them after consultation. No quote, no call —nothing Update: Appointment was 12/1 by Matt. Texted him my full information so he had everything, there shouldn’t have been an issue with my name. Texted him again on 12/3 and was ghosted. Called the office, no one answers.

Very happy with Energy Needs! Energy Nerds gave me an estimate and they found some issues with my old house. They took plenty of pictures and explained everything. The fix required a lot of work and the estimate was below what I expected. They finished on time, did a great job and everyone was friendly and professional. After they were done I turned the furnace back on and I could immediately tell the difference. I live near a busy road and it was much quieter afterward. It was an unexpected benefit. I got up into my attic and measured myself and they blew in the amount of insulation they said they would. You can trust Energy Nerds.

Overall, they successfully put insulation in my attic, so they might be worth a call to get an estimate. Based on my experience, if I have future insulation work, I will probably get an estimate from them, but I won't give Energy Nerds preference if any other place is comparable. For reference, my work was to add insulation to my attic. Cost: They were within about $100 of the other place that I called, so they were at least competitive. When I priced out the insulation cost from the local hardware store, the price from Energy Nerds was about 2x - 3x the cost of the insulation. After the federal insulation rebates and accounting for my time, it looked like it was still worth it to have have a contractor do it. Excellent work! We first worked with Matt in Cedar Rapids to get an estimate and he showed us his recommendations for the work. Dalton and Mike did the installation. Great at keeping us informed of the work progress and after work cleanup. Professional and considerate of our property. We highly recommend!
