Erie Home

Erie Home replaced my roof last week. Everyone from the company was professional from start to finish. The roofing crew worked 12 hours in the cold to get the job done efficiently. I chose this company because their products are of superior quality.

The overall Erie Home experience was very positive. The price of the roof replacement was a bit high, but the quality of the materials used was also high. Otherwise, I would have looked for a contractor with a better price. The roofing crew were very courteous. They were concerned for the noise generated, as we were Home during the re-roof. They worked very quickly with sufficient men to get it done quickly. When completed, they provided a thorough clean up, which included going around with a wheeled magnet to get any nails. I heard good things about Erie Home, and I can confirm it with our experience.

Edit: 10/18/25 Company reached out to me and came out. We are working things out. Once updated. I will re-update review for 3rd time. Nothing was done right. Kane would never call me back about the dumpster deal, the non-matching shingles. And Shane never came to survey the rood. Plus, Shane gave me an excuse as to not giving me the contract I'd signed. I asked Kane for it, said didn't he print it out. They gave me a completely different contract, not covering what was to be covered, lies. I addressed it with an agent and told her, someone else must have wrote this one. She said yes, someone else wrote it, like it's common practice to switch contracts.I'd had major surgery. I had my doubts that my new roof would be finished in 1 day. The crew showed up around 8:30 in the morning and by 5:30 in the eve the roof was completed and all the clean up finishe. The forman answered all my questions in detail and was on site to make sure I was satisfied. the new roof looks excellent and I am extremly staisfied with the products and workmanship. I did feel The roof was more expensive than other qoutes I recieved but I was impressed with thier product.

The sales tactics of this company are deplorable. The door-to-door salesman chasing leads coerced us into an appointment for a free roof estimate the following day, never actually asking us if we wanted an estimate, but instead telling us that they’d be back the next day. We do happen to be in the market to replace our roof, so we decided to entertain the offer and hear them out about a quote. The next day, the real salesman shows up, looks over the roof, says he’s going to give us a quote, but settles in for a TWO HOUR sales pitch. My husband told him several times, firmly but politely, that we aren’t committing to anything right now and every time he said that, the salesman questioned him, even challenging him that we wouldn’t find anyone else out there that can do their quality of work/
