We commissioned Ed and his team to remodel our high rise 3 bedroom 2 bath condo in Lakeview. In total they completely remodeled our kitchen, two bathrooms, sanded and restrained the hardwood floors, installed new closet doors, painted throughout, and brought our electrical and plumbing up to current code. This project took about 8 months, during which time Ed was in constant communication with us and our HOA, coordinating to make sure everything stayed on track. He was always accessible whenever we had concerns and made sure to address them to our satisfaction. Everyone on his team was very nice and courteous, especially given that we were living in the construction area for part of the time. Ed’s initial quote was accurate and the only overages were items we specifically upgraded ourselve

E.S. Carpentry did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations in building our dream kitchen. Our project involved taking down a wall to expand into an old, poorly built addition. This resulted in several challenges - including a lack of studs and an angled ceiling - which Ed creatively solved. Ed was great to work with: knowledgeable, responsive, dependable, honest, professional, and thorough. He had wonderful, insightful suggestions based on his many years in the business. Everyone on his crew was top-notch, polite and all kept the work area clean. Our new kitchen is beautiful and we highly recommend working with Ed and E.S. Carpentry.

We had the best experience with Ed for the renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms. Although big renovations are always stressful, Ed and his crews made every piece of the journey as easy as possible. From quote and contract to the very end of the project, we appreciated Ed's hands on involvement, frequent communication, and attention to details and quality. And we are in love with the end result!

Ed Strach remodeled my kitchen last year. The cabinets, countertops and lighting is nice. The floor is completely ruined due to the way the work was done more than half of the tiles are cracked and he has refused to respond to fix the situation.

Ed came over and spent approximately one hour talking to me about updating my basement. He told me he would be in touch with me in about a week but that was 3 weeks ago. I tried calling but never received a response and wonder why he would take the time to come over in the first place. I am not going to bother moving forward with this company as I have no confidence with any work they would do.
