We started out needing new gutters after years of putting it off, for our 103-year-old house. We suspected there might be rotted wood where they were attached, and we also had an issue with a sagging porch and roofing “guests” (birds, squirrels, etc). We had used other contractors in the past for things like our roof, but had been ultimately disappointed and were looking for someone who understood our respect for the age and aesthetic of our beloved older house. We wanted to preserve the look and use quality materials. We have some nice detailed woodwork and Jason, the foreman and excellent woodworker, was able to honor that in the new mahogany wood details of our porch and the soffits. ESHI Builders have been an absolute pleasure to work with. We purchased a new home in Portsmouth and did (almost) a full interior renovation with this team. They were punctual, hard working, clean and everyone was so kind during the whole process. They do not cut corners and take their jobs very seriously, we saw it throughout every step of the project. We had ESHI renovate our new home in Portsmouth. We were not living in Rhode Island while all the work was going on, so we trusted them to take care of the house. Our project started out with a simple scope but ended up ballooning due to pervasive water damage in our home. The ESHI team was ready to help us deal with all of it, and they were extremely considerate of the difficult circumstances. Despite the massive increase in work, they managed to finish everything before our first trip up for the summer. The quality of the work was excellent. Our new kitchen, new bathroom, new exterior, new windows and doors all looked great. I was referred to ESHI Builders when I had to terminate my original home builder for breach of contract. From the minute I made contact, the experience was unrivaled. Dwayne reached out to me to give me updates daily as we were completing the scope of work. Heidi was assigned as the project manager and her communication, customer service and interior design consulting was incredible! This team pulled off miracles in a very short timeline! Every trade person that was assigned to our house by ESHI was highly skilled. I love my beautiful new home and ESHI has earned a customer for life! If I could give them 6 stars, I would!!!

We had ESHI remodel our kitchen. They were able to help with the design and addressed any of our questions. The contractors were all amazing and did fantastic work. Dwayne and Heidi were both great to work with. We would highly recommend them.
