Esparza's Landscaping

I'm providing the lowest possible rating. I only wish zero or a negative rating was available. Alex Esparza JR of Esparza Landscaping took off with my $2500.00 deposit and never delivered the agreed upon landscaping services. He is very dishonest and extreme high pressure. He wil constantly as for money and complain he didn't collect enough. He also underbids jobs then asks for more money! I've contacted him numerous times he yells and hangs up the phone. He's very disrespectful to women. Please do not employ Alex or his company. He has a reputation of taking deposits in Galveston's West end and in Beachside Village and not rendering services. This happened to me in July of 2025. BEWARE !!!

Alex and his crew do good work. Alex is a high-pressure salesman. To the point of making you feel uncomfortable. Paid him upfront for the last job (big mistake, watched his crew work on several yards while leaving ours alone). I did learn a valuable lesson, never pay for a job upfront..

Alex will not finish a job before constantly pressuring you into other jobs. He will constantly want to be paid in advance and he does not bid correctly so he will always ask for more money because he needs more materials and in the end he will not complete whatever the last job was. Oh and if you hold payment for him to finish the job, he will threaten you with a lien on your house. If you are a woman, he will disrespect you and treat you like you are nothing. DO NOT HIRE!!!!

The owner Alex is such a nice guy. He knows his plants and did a great job. Most companies that I called gave me a 2-3 week lead time. I needed the job done quickly because I was selling the house. He got me on the schedule and fixed up within 3 days. Highly recommend.
