Essex St - Municipal Parking

Parking here for years! Always feels safe and trustworthy. They take it serious and it’s well ran. Clean with lots of nice vehicles. Price is reasonable for such great value

Apparently there's no class Tesla Chargers in Manhattan do they have them in other parking lot but you have to leave your car with them and I forgot my Tesla key card so I have to find a parking lot that allows me to park it myself. I try to use the DC 150 kilowatts but only at 41.. it's supposed to accept my credit card but that didn't work so I had to download my app it took me 20 minutes just to figure everything out but it started working... I wish I could put some more fast Chargers independent Tesla charged around the city I don't think I'll buy any other electric cars why can't you imagine driving I'm looking for these things

This is a beautiful parking garage, and you can bring an SUV. It is clean and brightly lit. There is one elevator I believe as well, although it's hot and has a long wait. There is also an open roof top. When we were there, there was security walking up and down the floors, which felt extra safe. Not sure if that is standard! Hide your valuables obviously, don't leave anything out to be seen. It is NYC... so think as if you're in a city.

This place is pretty decent and easy to navigate. I don’t know what other reviewers mean about the price being high—it’s New York City and for Manhattan parking garages., their prices are relatively low. For a 2 hour trip to the LES, these guys are worth it and less expensive than a round trip LIRR ticket plus train fare.

Essex parking probably is the best self parking lot in the Manhattan. It has amazing pricing and almost has space.
