I was initially skeptical when I saw that ExceptionTile had a five-star rating, but it is absolutely well deserved. Jefferson and his team are phenomenal. I’m used to contractors giving an estimate that ends up being 20% higher, running weeks behind schedule, and showing up sporadically. That was not the case here. Jefferson and his team showed up early every day, left late, worked hard throughout the day, and kept the work area clean. They also took precautions to ensure that dust and mess did not spread throughout the house. This was an atypical installation because the tiles could not be cut and the grout had to be wider than usual to make the tiles fit. These were beautiful Delft tiles from Etsy which I wanted installed around my fireplace. Jefferson did an amazing job and did everything he could to accommodate me in doing the job exactly how I wanted it. The end result is gorgeous and I am happy to recommend him. Jefferson and his guys did a great job with installing the tile for our shower. I’d recommend Exceptional Tile for others looking for a better than average tile installer with fair pricing and good communication. He visited our house for the quote the same day I reached out to him, and he scheduled the work within a couple of weeks after I decided to move forward with him. For reference, this job took one of his workers about 4 full days to lay the tile and grout - and they did a great job of managing their mess and protecting the rest of my house while working to install the shower tiles. Jefferson and his team are amazing to work with! Their work is impeccable and he and his guys are beyond professional. They work full days and completed our kitchen and bathroom job way ahead of schedule. Jefferson is a gentleman and he really cares about the quality of his work and that the homeowner is satisfied. He communicated everything in detail before, during, and after the work was complete. We have worked w many subcontractors over the years and Exceptional tile is one that I would put at the top of my list going forward. Can’t recommend enough
