Expert Building Inspection

John Hearn’s home inspection and subsequent report was thorough and detailed, yet very easy to understand. He was very professional and answered any questions we had. He was also very timely and we had copies of our inspection reports by the end of that day. As first time home buyers who didn’t know hardly anything about the home inspection process leading up to it, and we are grateful we had the experience we had with John. We absolutely would recommend him to any prospective home buyer, seasoned or first time, for your home inspection needs.

John did my home inspection in 2015 and to this day I am so thankful I didn't chose anyone else. He was incredibly thorough and respectful. As a first time home buyer I worried what I might be getting myself into but John 's detailed report laid out any and all issues making me confident in my new home. He provided me a first time home buyers manual which I still use. I cannot say enough good things about him and his company. I would highly recommend. He provides the best quality and is incredibly responsive. If I remember correctly he even got me the report on a weekend!

Met with Jay to inspect a home we were buying and thought overall he was very helpful and explained anything we wanted more detail on. Great price. His results were detailed and on a nice website I loved that. Im surprised he didn't go on our roof to review roof or chimney condition above but overall I'm satisfied and would use again!

Inspected the home I was selling and currently occupying last spring. Appointment was set for pick of the radon test on 5/20/19. John entered our home without permission or notice, more than 3 hours prior to the scheduled time when we were not home. He used the lock box which he just happened to have access to, as he has an active broker license. We were very unhappy with this situation as it was extremely unprofessional and unsettling. We have a dog in the home and don't typically allow others to come in without our supervision or penning of the dog. A home for sale does not mean an open door policy for all involved in the process.

I used Expert Building Inspection for 2 properties a few years ago. Report was thorough and easy to understand. This business definitely deserves a higher grade than what google is showing. I highly recommend.
