My AC wasn’t working efficiently. I had a so called Man come to my house, he checked the Freon with his gauges, came up stairs, told me I needed a new AC unit, wrote out an estimate, charged me 250.00, to tell me I needed a new AC unit. It was icing up, all it needed was a good cleaning. That was two years ago. My AC works perfectly fine. All I did was YouTube how to clean a coil, lo and behold after cleaning my unit it’s been working perfectly fine and that was two years ago. Do not ever use this company. $250 for him to put his gauges on the outside handler to tell me I needed a new AC unit. He didn’t even look at the coil on the inside, just Immediately told me I needed a new unit. I’ve been pissed for two years. I want my $250 back.

We have relied on Family Heating and Air since moving to FL last year. About 2 months ago they installed a split unit in our garage and I was impressed by the quality of their work and their professional attitude. Recently our home AC compressor died and we called for help. Johnathan arrived at 08:00 the next morning and quickly found the problem. He found that the system had a leak and since it was 13 years old we elected to replace the unit. He was able to patch us up for the day so we got cool again and the next morning Robert and his team were here to install a new compressor outside and a new air handler inside. All work was completed very professionally and at a fair price. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently all the work was performed and am now enjoying a nice cool house! T

Very responsive and great customer service! We got the runaround and some outrageous pricing from our other options, Family Heating and Air showed up on time and answered all of our questions. We had a new system installed the week following our estimate and request for installation in the middle of August! Great technicians and salesman, we will definitely use and recommend them in the future! Thank you! We have had our unit for a year now and still highly recommend Family after our first service call! We are on the Preventive Maintenance Agreement and have someone come out twice a year to service our air conditioning. We appreciate the time and thoughtfulness each team member puts into a call to our house, identifying items that could become issues in the future and helping us take action to avoid those issues. Jesse was out today and he was extremely professional and thorough. I would recommend Family Heating and Air to anyone that needs service for their AC.

WOMAN BEWARE! I hired them through my mother to do the ac for a house we’re building for my grandma and grandpa. These guys severely overcharged and screwed the entire system up and when we asked them to fix it, they not only said it wasn’t their problem but they again severely overcharged us to the point where I just said I’d do it myself. Not only did they cross ducts in the most ridiculous ways but they squeezed 15” ducts through 6” spaces which pretty much suffocated half the house. But that’s not the worst thing… they never built a shroud (basically a cover over the backside of the unit so the ducts don’t get damaged) and the ducts got incredibly damaged. The ducts got several holes and flooded to the point where we had to tear almost 20ft out. This is like HVAC 101. We asked them to
