I was a customer for 20 years and just cancelled. They are fine to deal with but their price is much higher than others. The per gallon price on the last bill was about 25% higher than a competitor that I found. I took an extra star off because, when I called to cancel, they offered me 35 cents per gallon off if I’d stay. That doesn’t make up for years of higher charges.

We used them for a while and had to get someone else to clean our furnace out after because they were doing it too cheaply. Recently we decided to give them another shot at the behest of our landlord and they tried to trick us about the price and then unprompted: told us to "watch out" if we don't buy oil for them because if something happens they won't come to help us. What the heck?

They will leave mailers to entice you but DO NOT use them. Will eventually upcharge you after the initial delivery without informing you of the new prices. E.g. pay $2 higher per gallon than what everyone else is paying. Classic bait and switch company. Honest and reliable businesses do not need to constantly shower homes with mailers because customers stick with them long term. This is a dishonest business run by a dishonest family with predatory practices. Again, be wary of the fawcetts. EDIT: Be skeptical if there are sudden influx of good ratings, reviewers are incentivized to do so. Look at the reviews over the years or on other review platforms to see what this company is really like.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company to anyone. They installed a new tank in my home in 2021. Three years later, it is leaking oil (see picture). I bought oil from them for 2 years but switched away after realizing they get customers on a delivery contract and then charge about 75 cents per gallon more than the market price. Because I no longer buy oil from them, they are refusing to fix the tank that they poorly installed. I am not even asking for warranty fix, just to pay them to fix the problem they created, and still they refuse to come to my home. Buyer beware!
