Finsterwald was hired as a subcontractor on our project, and the overall project was troubled because of the prime contractor. After the job was done, James came back out to fix some issues that should have been the prime’s responsibility. Their flat work is good and finished nicely.

I hate leaving reviews like these, but the workers really NEED to watch their mirrors when driving on the roads. Turning from the left lane on a busy road to turn right is very dangerous to everyone on the roads. Today, December 21, 2025, my husband was driving to work and had a finsterwald driver turn right from the left lane, right in front of him, cutting him off-no signaling or waiting. It has occurred more than once, since they were doing work in our area, which causes everyone around them to swerve or slam on their brakes, causing alarm to those behind them.

This company worked on the repair of my street and they did a very professional concrete job. The employees are very respectful and friendly. They cleaned the streets at the end of the day. The managers and the owner were very accessible people.

Finsterwald Irrigation & Landscaping maintains the landscaping in our townhome community. As a homeowner I appreciate the work they do for us, their reliability and the respect their crews show for our property and people. I've had the opportunity to meet the management on occasion and they're stand-up folks. It's great to work with a local, family run business and feel we are lucky to have Finsterwald providing our landscape services.

Finsterwald is doing a wonderful job of repairing and upgrading the curbs and gutters in the Adams neighborhood. They even beautified the parking between the curbs and sidewalks on my street. When I told them I was visually impaired, they went out of their way to put up caution tape on both sides of my driveway. This company is professional in every way and cares how its work impacts the residents, as well as the neighborhood.
