Carmen & the crew was efficient, thorough of the property. They handled everything — from tearing out old fixtures and drywall to clearing out years of leftover junk — and left the space clean and ready for the next phase of work. Communication was great throughout the process, and they stuck to the timeline and budget we discussed. Highly recommend.

First Call removed all of the lathe and plaster walls and ceilings in a 300-year-old stone farmhouse, that we are taking through an extensive renovation. They also removed all of the old hot and cold water plumbing and the large and very heavy cast iron radiators and associated pipework. There were paneled wood walls, fireplaces and a few fixtures to carefully remove, that we hope to refinish and reinstall. They also dug inspection holes against the walls in the basement so the structural engineer could assess the depth and quality of the foundations. From the first moment we contacted them, Lea and her husband Carmen were extremely responsive and helpful. Their price was very competitive and their very hard working crew, supervised by working foreman “Face”, got the whole job complete

These guys did a great job with my 2 houses that needed to be gutted. Any additional items I asked them to do they did it without question. Carmen and his team were always willing to send me pictures so that I could check in on the progress. Leah, always communicated with us to make sure that everything was on time & budget. I hesitate to leave this review, because it will make it difficult to get them on my next project but they deserve to be very busy.

My dad's deteriorated garage was one of the signs that he may no longer be able to care for himself. Caregiving is undoubtedly very stressful and Carmen and Leah were very empathetic and patient with me. During every step of the process, they were extremely responsive over email, text, and phone. The project was done in an efficient manner and they left the job site remarkably clean. I knew that everything my father left in the garage would be hauled away, but unexpectedly, I received a text from Carmen who said that he retrieved a few military items belonging to my father out of the rubble and that he was safegaurding them.
