FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration

What could have been a smaller repair turned into a much bigger mess that affected multiple apartments, including mine. First Onsite failed to properly secure a tarp on the roof, which caused even more rainwater to leak into the property where I live and damaged apartments further. Communication was slow. There was a lot of confusion about when repairs would happen and how long it would take. The situation dragged on much longer than necessary because of poor planning and lack of follow-up. Overall, I would not recommend First Onsite based on this experience. If you’re looking for a company that communicates well and takes responsibility for protecting your property, I’d look elsewhere.

Ken Fahey was incredible. He is responsive, listens, explains things in a way that the customer understands, he is open to feedback, he collaborates with the customer, and it is obvious he cares about us - his customers. Steve Becker from the Contents Division was also a saint. He came into our lives at a terrible time and no matter how many times we asked the same question he patiently and professionally answered them. He checked in on us, came out multiple times to guide us through the process, and make sure that things were moving forward. Steve was compassionate, the consummate professional, and a great asset to us getting our lives back after this disaster.

We had a flood / sewer backup in early October 2022. First Onsite was referred to us by our insurance company. At the beginning, everything seemed great, however, as other reviews mentioned, our experience with First Onsite in St. Louis (and Corporate) is an ongoing nightmare. Attempting to keep the details short: The scope of work essentially includes replacing the flooring, redoing two hall-sized full baths, dry-wall / trim, and paint in an ~1100sqft condo. Our contract date was 12/8/2022, ~2 months after the incident as that was the earliest they could meet (several contractors were backed up at the time). We were out of our home for ~10 months. Easily should have been less. As of Oct 31, 2023 the project is not 100% complete / finalized. List of Issues Throughout the Experience

This company employs dangerous drivers. 6:40am on 12/22 this guy was running people off of the road . Scary stuff.

First On Site came at the request of our insurance company to give an estimate for water damage that had already been mitigated. When I called to schedule, the company was not longer willing to do the repairs. Regardless of that, the person who finally reached out to me after a week was incredibly rude and told me good luck very sarcastically- completely unhelpful and unprofessional.
