Floor Coverings International Mainline

Nice job done by flooring international. Took me a while to decide exactly what type of a floor to put down. Ordered a lot of samples. The floor was put down in less than one day at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the results I would recommend them in the future

I usually don't leave reviews, but feel compelled to write one in this case to help others avoid the unfortunate experience I had after selecting Floor Coverings International, Mainline. Mike seems like a nice guy, but this company doesn't have their *stuff* together, and customers suffer. I don't know if the issue is they are taking on more work than they can handle or what, but my install was DELAYED BY TWO WEEKS past the contracted date. Then the real kicker - they install the carpet and RUN OUT OF MATERIAL before they're done. I gotta give it to the guys installing, the job they did wasn't bad, but if you don't have enough carpet you can't stretch it an extra flight of stairs no matter how hard you try. Mike was very kind. He was perfectly on time for the consultation. We started the job ourselves; we ripped up the carpet and started the vinyl installation in two of our three rooms. We called Mike because the job was a little more challenging than we expected. He was able to fit us in the same week that we had the consultation. We agreed on a time, date and price; all of which were very reasonable. On the day of the installation, he was supposed to arrive in the morning but didn’t come until 3:30 PM. Due to the late hour, of course his employee wanted to go home. To his credit he did stay and finish the job that night. I wanted an eco-friendly kitchen floor that would pair with 50-year old hardwoods. Didn't want tile - - too hard. Lux vinyl, with it's wood-like looks wouldn't work - so I settled on cork. For some reason, I thought it would be a simple choice. Turns out, not everyone has the expertise to work with cork. The manufacturer, WeCork connected me with Mike and his team at Floor Covering International Mainline. He came personally to inspect the job and quote a price. Two weeks later, he and his expert installer, Junior, were on the job, and finished in a day, in spite of a few unforeseen snags.
