I selected six boxes of the same porcelain tile from the same pallet/area in the store. At checkout, the cashier scanned the barcode from a single box and manually entered a quantity of six boxes, completing the transaction without opening or verifying each box. After returning home and getting halfway through the installation, I discovered that one of the six boxes contained the wrong tile. Once the installation was fully completed, I returned to the store with the incorrect box and one remaining unused tile, and explained the situation in detail. The cashier stated she could not process the return and called the store manager. The manager then counted the tiles present and stated that he would only issue a refund for four tiles. What I particularly want to praise is not only the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store, but also the cleanliness and odor-free restrooms, which even provide toliet seat covers.
