Flooring America Decatur

A friend recommended Flooring America to replace about 800 square feet of our floors. Brandon helped us pick the floor we wanted and then he spent a couple hours at our home measuring. We have a complicated floor plan, but he created a perfect drawing of it and gathered all the measurements, including a 3/8" difference between our subfloors. In a couple of weeks Andrew and Paul came to install our new floor. It took them less than four days to tear out all the old and install all the new. These two are excellent craftsmen who installed all the flooring perfectly! All our interactions with Flooring America were excellent! And our new floor is amazing! We already have two more projects that we'll be using them in the future.

During covid i made an appt for my daughter to look at flooring . We had the building and salesman all to ourselves for two hours looking for the most durable flooring since she had 5 Great Danes. The salesman recommended a flooring that was usa made since he stated it was usually more available when needed and this was 100 percent water proof and dog proof . He said if we paid for installation it came with a lifetime warranty. So 5 years later we called to see if they still carried the same flooring and had an area that was starting to curl up n peel that needed to be looked at. It took them weeks to get back with us - they could not even tell us if they still carried the flooring as we wanted to purchase more for an area we was going to remove a section of wall from n needed. We had a FABULOUS experience with these folks! They have a great selection of carpeting - we LOVE the carpeting (see pix!). Flooring America's employees made the selection process REALLY easy - we just found a carpet we loved that also fit our budget, gave them our address, they had a tech come out and measure, and a few weeks later we had this GORGEOUS CARPETING! We couldn't be happier! Their installers were really fast and professional, and did a great cleanup job so that once they left, all we had to do was put our furniture back. Great service from salesman to installers. Got new carpet in basement along with new flooring in bathroom, and it turned out better than I could imagine. Highly, highly recommend them.

Our sales associate, Clarissa was so accommodating, accessible and patient during our many visits while in the selection process; thankfully Flooring America has a huge selection of flooring to choose from! Once we finally decided on our favorite flooring, Clarissa and Mike gave us a thorough quote and all the materials arrived as quoted. The installation crew was outstanding as well. They handled some obstacles without missing a beat and finished the work on time and in budget! All the staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Could not have asked for a better floor-shopping experience.
