Flooring by New Step Install

Flooring by New Step has been on one of my projects and I couldn’t be more upset. Since day 1 there have been issues and schedule delays of more than 4 weeks! The owner is OK with his installers installing products not following manufacturer specs, which would in turn void the manufacturer warranties. The owner Al, said this is industry standard. I disagree. Fast forward to the refinishing of the hardwood flooring for the same project….they will be coming back for the 3rd time to re-sand and re-finish the flooring due to multiple issues. Uneven color between new wood and old where laced in, installing incorrect materials(maple wood vs red oak, chips in flooring, flooring finish feeling like 100 grit sandpaper, scuffed up walls throughout 3,100 sq ft house, I mean the list goes on. Highly recommend!!! New Step Install did a fantastic job from the selection process to installation. They were extremely helpful when we were trying to choose the best carpet for our household’s needs, and we couldn’t be happier with what we chose. Nik was great, so helpful, and easy to reach. We will definitely be using New Step for all our future flooring projects and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fair priced, high quality flooring company!

Al, the owner of the company, went above and beyond to find a near perfect match to replace part of our flood, damaged hardwood floors. His follow up and follow through were meticulous, and the team he sent to demolish and install the new floors were very professional and did an amazing job. I highly recommend new step install.

I had such a great experience with New Step Install. My flooring situation was kind of a mess but they showed up, figured it out, and completely nailed it. The new wood floors look amazing! Way better than I expected. Everyone I dealt with was super nice, professional, and actually cared about the job, which feels a bit rare these days. The installer was awesome too. He was thorough, hardworking, and clearly took pride in his work. I 100% recommend these guys if you’re looking for people who know what they’re doing and actually care about doing it right.

NEW STEP, were excellent, worked with my schedule, both dropping off samples, material, and on the install. Install crew couldn't have been nicer, or more professional. They took away old carpet, repaired floor, and did an amazing installation. We will be using NEW STEP in the future for other rooms in our home, I highly recommend this company!
