Floors By Kim

This was our second project with Kim and her team! Kim is incredibly fair, professional and and goes above and beyond. Our stairs where in major need of an overhaul…we think they where over 100 years old and unfortunately not salvageable from years of abuse. We replaced all of the treads and risers. Since we couldn’t leave the house for the work, Kim prefinished the treads for us which made life much easier. As they got into the job they realized it would be better to reinforce some of the old framing. While many contractors would have rushed through, Kim’s team took the time to make sure the job was done right. Thanks again Kim!

Floors By Kim did a wonderful job on our original third floor hardwood. Kim arrived quickly and brought legitimate expertise, easily identifying the type of floors and the pros and cons of each treatment type. When it comes to the floors in my personal home, I always go with Floors by Kim. You just can't touch this type of quality. Kim's worked on at least 4 of my properties over the years. The top 3 items that are most important to me in choosing a HWF contractor is (1) how well did the contractor explain back to me what I wanted to do ensuring that they understand what I want, (2) how well they communicated their process, pricing and timeline for the project (3) clean up and finish product. Kim nails it EVERYTIME!

Had about 1,500 sf of red oak refinished to natural recently. The best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. Kim is super fair on pricing, incredible communication and only uses top quality finishing products. Other places I got quotes from had similar pricing but were using way lower quality materials and were not nearly as easy to work with. Her team is incredibly efficient, respectful and I have never seen a contractor leave a place so clean.

Kim and her team did an absolutely fantastic job. We installed new wide plank reclaimed wood floors and refinished existing wood floors. Everything was done on time (and on an expedited timeline to fit our schedule), with great skill, and the final product looks fantastic. Pricing was very competitive and I have no complaints. We would hire Kim and her team again for any future flooring projects. Thank you for a job well done!
