FocalPoint Flooring Cabinets & Design

We had Focalpoint do our flooring and countertops in our new house we built, and we couldn’t ask for a better experience with them. From the great advice and help on the show room floor, to the absolutely perfect installation job, we were treated like family from the first time we met with their team. We are very impressed with how Focalpoint handled our picky tastes and uneducated ideas, and we will choose them and recommend them every time in the future.

Lexi was extremely helpful and patient in helping us work through carpet selection and coordinating with the shop for a split installation. The install crew was fabulous. They arrived precisely as scheduled, were a pleasure to have in our home, and did a great job.

Terrible workmanship sums up my experience with FocalPoint Flooring. Unfortunately my builder didn't allow me to select who installed the floors. My house was built only 2 years ago and we've had problems with our LVP flooring immediately. Gaps all over and connection points that were never installed correctly creating high/low joints that you can see in the pictures. One spot got so bad that it actually splintered away (again see pics). Had them come out to "fix" certain area's before the 1 year warranty expired, but more areas keep having this same issue and they won't do anything about it. They try anything they can to blame the owner for the problem, but it's 100% installation issue, confirmed with a good friend who owns a flooring business. They told me I would have to pay $200+ just

Update: The technician who came out was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the process while resolving the issues as agreed upon with the builder. The email representative was equally friendly and made coordinating appointments simple. The builder chose FocalPoint for the flooring installation. Unfortunately, both bathrooms have misaligned vinyl flooring with noticeable bumps underneath - one has a bubble in the corner, and an open cutout. The carpet areas also has a random spot with bump underneath (unclear what’s causing it) and multiple protruding nails. I’m currently in contact with the company to see whether they’ll honor the warranty and replace the vinyl flooring rather than attempt a simple patch. I’m hoping they’ll make things right, and I’ll update this review

I recently had my lower-level family room carpet replaced by FocalPoint Flooring. The Service team went above and beyond to coordinate everything for a smooth transaction. I would recommend for any new construction or remodel situation.
