Foundation 1

We had purchased a home at the beginning of the year and noticed some deformities with our foundation. We called Foundation 1 and they promptly sent out their evaluator, Cassell, who thoroughly inspected the foundation and gave us peace of mind that the deformities are normal and easy patch jobs. Although there was no repairs to be made, we felt comfortable and at ease with the thorough inspection and explanation. We are glad to have their information and will use them if needed in the future and will recommend them to everyone!

We've used Foundation 1 a few years back and again this week to add piers to both sides of our home. We're returning customers because they obviously didn't disappoint. Communication on scheduling, before and during the job was flawless. The folks who came and did the work along with the foreman we're outstanding! Hats off to them for their hard work. They dug huge holes by hand in less than a full day! Plus, our yard was neat and cleaned up once the job was complete. While I don't wish foundation problems on anyone, we definitely recommend Foundation 1!!

I wish I could give Foundation 1 more than 5 stars. It all started with Bill who gave us an amazing initial interview and quote. After interviewing with about 12 prospective contractors, we felt most comfortable with Bill. He was honest and answered all our questions. He even came back, when we asked, to make sure we understood everything. And his quote was very reasonable for what we needed ,with an excellent lifetime transferable warranty that we have no doubt Foundation 1 will honor into the future. No body else came close to offering this good of a warranty. After talking with him, we knew Foundation 1 was who we wanted doing our foundation repair. I hired Foundation 1 for foundation work and paid a 30% deposit on July 23, with the understanding that work would begin the week of Aug. 11. Since then, I have experienced serious issues: As of today, Sept. 8, no permit was ever obtained or paid for. No confirmed start date was provided. Instead, the responsibility for scheduling was pushed back onto me by saying we're ready to schedule your work. I was told that “all materials were on hand,” which is misleading. While some manufactured components may have been available, the project also required approximately 47 cubic yards of gravel — a quantity no contractor reasonably keeps stockpiled. I was pressured with threats that if I did not authorize the project to begin, I would forfeit my deposit, even though the company itself was not r
